This week on "Off The Cuff," Justin and Megan give an update on guidance from the Department of Education regarding the sharing of students' FAFSA information and what schools need to know. Justin, Megan, and Stephen discuss the Perkins Loan program closeout process, and Stephen gives an update on Congress's work on the federal budget. Plus, Justin, Megan, Stephen, and Allie talk about transparency expectations for the federal government, and FSA chief Dr. A. Wayne Johnson's recent public appearance at an event in Washington, D.C. The team also shares member submissions for their favorite "goodbye" songs, and poses a new question: What confuses you about the federal budget and appropriations process?

    Megan,
To follow up on your mention of the Corn Palace, it is located in Mitchell, SD. If I’m remembering correctly, this would have been SDASFAA’s 2011 conference in Chamberlain - Mitchell is halfway between Chamberlain and the airport in Sioux Falls. On behalf of SD, thanks again for making the trip and you are welcome back anytime!
    Sincerely,
